T.I. Sent To Prison For Year

Hip Hop star T.I. was sentenced to one year and a day in prison on Friday (March 27) in Atlanta for charges relating to his October 2007 arrest on the night of the BET Hip Hop Awards.
A federal judge approved a plea deal Friday that will likely put Atlanta rapper T.I. in prison for a little less than 10 months for trying to buy machine guns and ammo from undercover agents in 2007.

Rapper Coolio has been arrested at Los Angles airport for being caught with drugs. The rapper Artis Leon Ivey Jr, was later released on $10,000 (£7,000) bail.
R Kelly is being sued by private investigator

TMZ.com reports that a private investigator is claiming that kelly failed to deliver payment of $300,000 for services rendered.According to a lawsuit filed in Missouri federal court, Charles Freeman was allegadly hired during kelly’s trial to “obtain and/or recover certain tapes that were said to incriminate” the singer.
Freeman is said to be suing for damages plus interests and costs.
50 Cent is becoming a movie star

50 cent has announced the launch of his film production company Cheetah Vision. 50 cent has reportedly bought 8 or more scripts.
One film reportedly to be made, is a film called The Dance, starring 50 cent and Nicolas Cage. The rapper is quoted as saying about his scripts “They are all different types of movies that I bought the rights to, and we’re developing projects,” the rapper added. “You will see different things from me in the future”
50 cent will make his acting debut when he stars in his film Before I Self Destruct which will be released as a add on to his new album in march 2009
